As a spur of the moment thing, I wanted to take images of Lincoln Cathedral and the surrounding area. As many people in Lincoln know, you cant really be classed as a media student until you have take photos of the cathedral or the Brayford Quay canal. This prompted me to be a little bit more experimental with my images, taking photos of portions of the cathedral I found particularly interesting and elements of the surrounding area such as the road sign, fence posts and wall. I decided to play with the metering modes, gaining and interesting perspective through a diminishing shallow deth of field in some of the images.
